Hey guys

We're working on Joomla 3.0 and also want to have a vision of Frontend Template. And from our vision, we are building JSN Boot - a Bootstrap based template for Joomla 3.0, and this template will be release FREE as another our contribution for the Community.
Please take a look on this demonstration website and give any feedback.

Note: the Frontend template is not default Joomla 3.0 template. It's the FREE template for Joomla 3.0 created by Joomlashine and will be released when Joomla 3.0 version is ready!

Also, you can access backend to know about the new UI of Joomla 3.0 - great work from Kyle and other member of JUX developer group.

This website is under development. We'll continue to update Joomla 3.0 source to follow current Git progress, and the front end content will be update to show latest information about Joomla 3.0 and works from JUX developers.

I like the frontend frontpage functionality. But the backend seems to be missing key things. Is Joomla 3.0 not having drag and drop in anything? The menu system is horribly complicated right now and I am hoping it is much simpler to add menu items from within pages and have drag and drop functionality within the menu system in backend. I know it is a work in progress but surprised not to see any of that so far in the demos I've seen.

Drag & Drop feature is under development.
This version is still not Alpha, some enhancements are arriving.

Hi! My compliments for your good work! About Drag & Drop IMHO isn't important... it's only a feature... I talk about the front-end template.

IMHO, I would disagree. Drag and drop is the easiest, most natural way for amateurs to rearrange things quickly. If I want to move a page from end to middle in the list, I don't have to figure out what number to input and then hit save. I simply drag it to where I want it to go. Wordpress has this in few key areas like menu creation, and there is no reason we shouldn't have that ability either.

you're right, it's more comfortable but NOT necessary

Joomla needs a front-end better than ever for users (and not for admin only)
you're talking about admin needs but Drag&Drop for templating from the front-end isn't iimho a real priority...

the template JSN Boot is good even without a D&D in front-end

Oh, I don't even care about frontend drag/drop. I make my own designs anyway and in such a way that my client can't start re-arranging modules in the front. I'm just talking about managing things like the user menu, pages, pretty much anything that can be ordered in a list.

@n2h

When possible I'd like to test your front-end template, if you like, with a "win 8" layout.

I have some doubts about the breadcrumbs position.
Time to create page: 0.75 seconds
