Hi Guys
Great work and after seeing the demo Kyle gave at Joomla Day Cape Town, its very impressive seeing whats been done.

Some ideas for improvements

ToolTips
Align text left.

Save & Cancel button
The buttons are all the same and the click action is not clear. Personally I would like to see the following
>> SAVE button should be GREEN button action. The blue is too absorbed into the grey/blue combo
>> Any other combination of save can stay grey.
>> Cancel should be RED
>> Delete button should be RED

MENUS at the top
The order would make more sense in the following format
1. Dashboard (change to this name instead of control panel, brings this more inline with publishing companies.)
2. Content
3. Users
4. Components
5. Menus
6. Extensions
7. Help

Add a shortcut to the top menu which allows one to add a new (WordPress uses this)
- article
- category
- user
- menu

Configuration options in the template
1. ability to switch off the BLUE bar with the Joomla Logo
2. ability to switch off the HELP link in the top menu
3. ability to switch off the grey bar at the bottom of the site

TITLE of the PAGE
When the blue bar with the logo is removed, move the title of the PAGE to the left hand side above the MENU of the component or section you are in.

These are some thoughts, which could be useful
see attachment for the example.

2. ability to switch off the HELP link in the top menu

Please check the admin module settings of 'Admin Menu'

3. ability to switch off the grey bar at the bottom of the site

Disable the admin module 'User Status'

Probably, yes. Kyle was positive about the colored icons. And he has the last say in GUI/UX stuff

Just on the order of the menu - I agree that Dashboard probably is slightly less techy than Control panel. I am a believer that the default nomenclature should be aimed at the editor/author and not at the administrator.

However, if the menu is editable (?) then that would allow each admin to set up the priority depending on the users, and that would include the various way things are named. Little things like that can quickly make an environment more powerful as it moves closer to how the user already works rather than trying to re-educate them.
