The JUX Team proposes integrating into the six-month development cycle as follows:

First month- Collecting feedback, usability testing, design solutions
Second month- Exploration and prototype implementation
Third month- Testing and validation
Fourth month- Revisions, refine prototypes
Fifth month- Testing and validation
Sixth month- Final QA

1.7 came out July 19th right? So that means 2.5 is due in January.
We've got to get in the 1st and 2nd months of work pretty soon to get on track.


Since we're improving Bluestork for 2.5, we really need to get feedback on all the current problem areas and suggestions for additional features and improvements that are feasible within this small window of time.

This is the proposed process for the "normal" cycle. But this will have to be abbreviated for this cycle since we don't have the benefit of having previous cycles upon which to build and there's more of a focus on a quick cleanup of the admin template.

Joomla 2.5 is coming tomorrow.

Are we getting the ball rolling on this as per the above schedule?

Yes. I'd say that there's one amendment to the above and that's shortening those cycles to 20-25 days instead of 30 each.
